Celebrating the Success of the Inaugural DGS Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program!

We are delighted to announce the outstanding achievements of the inaugural Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program (YLP) at Diocesan Girls' School (DGS), a joint initiative between Tech Talk Toastmasters and GBA Elite Toastmasters Club. Over eight weeks from March to May 2025, this transformative program equipped 23 promising Secondary 2-4 students with essential public speaking, leadership, and communication skills.

Under the expert coordination of Dr. Darron Sun, Charter President of Tech Talk Toastmasters, and Sean LIN, DTM, Charter President of GBA Elite Toastmasters Club, the program reached its pinnacle with a Speech Contest on 22 May 2025. The event featured distinguished judges including Past District 89 Director Emily Ho, DTM, District 89 YLP Chair Kitty Tsang, DTM, along with Toastmasters Lilian Liu and Ronald Kong, together with the two coordinators. Participants demonstrated remarkable progress through their polished presentations, earning well-deserved recognition.

This initiative perfectly embodies our clubs' shared vision of empowering young people to communicate effectively and lead with purpose. The program's significant impact was further recognized through its feature on DGS's official website, highlighting its success.
