Meet the Nominated Executive Committee for 2026–27

Tech Talk Toastmasters is pleased to introduce the nominated Executive Committee for the 2026–27 Toastmasters year. As our club continues to grow as a supportive space for members to practise communication, develop leadership skills, and connect through technology-themed conversations, we are excited to welcome a dedicated team of leaders ready to serve our members in the year ahead.
The Executive Committee plays an important role in guiding the club’s direction, supporting high-quality meetings, encouraging member achievement, and creating opportunities for everyone to learn and contribute. Each officer brings their own strengths, experience, and enthusiasm to help Tech Talk Toastmasters continue its mission.
The 2026–27 nominated Executive Committee reflects the spirit of service at the heart of Toastmasters. Their willingness to step forward demonstrates commitment not only to club operations, but also to the personal growth and success of every member.
President: Silvia Ihensekhien
As President, Silvia will lead the club and work closely with the Executive Committee to support members, strengthen club quality, and ensure Tech Talk Toastmasters remains an engaging and welcoming community.
Vice President Education: Dr. Derek LAU
Dr. Derek LAU will oversee the club’s education program, helping members progress through their Toastmasters learning journeys, take on meeting roles, and achieve their personal communication and leadership goals.
Vice President Membership: Emil CHAN, PM1
Emil CHAN will focus on membership growth and retention, welcoming guests, supporting new members, and helping every participant feel connected to the Tech Talk Toastmasters community.
Vice President Public Relations: Michelle TSOI
Michelle TSOI will lead the club’s public relations efforts, sharing our stories, promoting upcoming meetings and events, and helping more people discover the value of Tech Talk Toastmasters.
Secretary: Ami WONG
Ami WONG will help keep the club organized by maintaining records, supporting committee communication, and ensuring important club information is documented clearly and accurately.
Treasurer: Wilson YAU, DTM
Wilson YAU will manage the club’s finances and support responsible planning so that Tech Talk Toastmasters can continue to provide meaningful programs and opportunities for members.
Sergeant at Arms: Eric XIE
Eric XIE will support smooth and professional meetings by helping with meeting logistics, preparation, and the welcoming atmosphere that makes every session enjoyable.
